About the Project
The Federal Garden Show (BUGA) 2031 is a visionary initiative aimed at fostering sustainable urban development in Wuppertal. The project focuses on enhancing living and environmental conditions, reducing pollution, and creating vibrant spaces for culture and community exchange. Key areas of development include: Tesche: Transforming former industrial sites into parklands with recreational and meeting spaces for the Vohwinkel district. Green Zoo: Revitalizing a historical landscape park into a space for biodiversity preservation and innovation. Wupperpforte: Designing a "forest of the future" that integrates landscape innovation with ecological preservation. The project sets new benchmarks in nature education, accessibility, and circularity, creating a greener, more inclusive future for the city.
OUR TASK
Space Era was entrusted with:
• Designing and visualizing the concept for a landmark bridge within the BUGA 2031 urban development project.
• Producing stunning architectural visualizations, photo-matched renders, and videos to illustrate the bridge within the environmental context.
• Supporting city authorities in presenting these visuals to secure funding and engage residents.

OUR RESULT
• The city successfully secured €10 million in funding from the state authorities of North Rhine-Westphalia by leveraging Space Era’s visualizations.
• Our work provided clarity and transparency to residents, helping them understand and support the government’s efforts for BUGA 2031.
• The visualizations were recognized and appreciated by city authorities, including the Lord Mayor of Wuppertal, Mr. Uwe Schneidewind.
